Philip Taylorson It’s so wonderful when you make a discovery by following a musical wormhole… this one was via one of my fave artists The Bevis Frond.. through the new album by Eliza Skelton to Oddfellows Casino!
This has so many elements of the music that I love.. it takes me back to the Canterbury sound yes but it just has that beautiful pastoral feel that resonates with me .. recommended to fans of Matt Berry, XTC , Caravan .. lovely!

r0bp Probably my favourite album of all time. Just fantastic and I love this song especially. Favorite track: Song of the crane fly.

They hail from the mountains of Sussex and are an ensemble whose music blends pastoral folktronica and psychedelia with classic English pop. At the centre of the group is singer-songwriter, author and radio broadcaster David Bramwell who has been described as ‘an English Sufjan Stevens’ (Sunday Times). ... more
